Maame Birago Yeboah

Profile of Maame Birago Yeboah, Esq.
Maame Birago Yeboah (“Maame”), she is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana; she is also a Chartered Tax Consultant. Her areas of expertise include Tax Advisory, Corporate & Commercial Practice; Energy & Natural Resources; International Finance; litigation and ADR. She has offered significant services to domestic and international companies on their investments in various sectors of the Ghanaian economy.

She worked for Ankamah & Associates and Ankamah Legal Consultancy as an Associate responsible for commercial law and tax advisory. Prior to her legal practice, she had over 15 years’ experience in Administrative and Human Resource Management in both the private and public sectors. Her experience includes working as an Administrative Manager in the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Maame holds a professional law certificate from the Ghana School of Law to practice as a Solicitor and Barrister; a qualified professional of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana to practice as a Tax Consultant; an Msc International Finance from the University of Westminster, London, UK; an LLB from the GIMPA Law School; and a Bsc Business Administration from the Central University, Ghana, where she graduated with first class and was awarded among others, the overall best student of her year group. She has also qualified for the Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Certificate.
She is the Founder of Ark Legal Consult, a practicing law firm in Accra. Maame is meticulous and conscientious in her works.

She lectures in taxation and law (Business and Revenue law) at the EM Tax Training School, where students are prepared to write the professional examination of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.

Maame has passion for interior & external property decoration and designing; something she loves to do at her leisure. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, a member of Ghana Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Association; and a product of Benkum Secondary School.
